С 1880г.-1884 г.
XIX в.

From 1800 to 1884 a stone house, the property of Skornyakova, was registered on the left side of the Kutum embankment. In 1904 Mikhail Shelekhov became the owner of the house.
The project was based on a completely new architectural approach, emerged in the late XIX – early XX centuries. This approach includes separation of the building to form different functional and stylistic sections, united in one asymmetric composition. The central part of the building incorporates an attic storey in with arched gemel windows crowned by a square watch tower. It is a one-storey building with a basement and an attic storey; the whole extent of the brick walls, spreading on the east-west line, is plastered; the southern (main) facade faces the Kutum Embankment. The composition of the house is vividly asymmetric. There is an attic storey in the central part of the house with a square watch tower above.
White tiled stoves decorated with flower-shaped ornament of the fretted frieze, ornamental decoration of the upper part of the walls and coving, and coffered lantern in the southeast part of the building and cornices are preserved in the interior. The building facade is decorated with a fretwork executed in a pseudo-renaissance style. The mansion is a remarkable example of the architectural solution reflecting the stylistic search of Russian architecture of the late XIX century.
